Promoting Your Online Business Opportunity - Blogging
Blogging has been around for awhile, however, many people don't realize the power of blogging and how profitable blogging can be to their business. Many have heard about blogging but haven't used this method of marketing because they've been always thought that blogging was for the teen agers and really haven't paid attention to how this medium of marketing could be used in more productive ways. Professional blogging has become a whole new segment of internet marketing for those who are willing to put forth a little more efforts into their marketing and writing talents.
Professional blogging is by no means a new idea and many of today's successful entrepreneurs have made an incredible amount of money by blogging professionally. You must have some understanding of today's marketing technology and use some imagination with regard to how you can use this remarkable marketing technology to build a stronger and more effective marketing machine to promote your online business.
For those of us who have seen how effective blogging can be in promoting our opportunities have been handsomely rewarded financially for our efforts. This type of promoting is not for everyone, because you must take the time to do the research about your subject matter, practice what you've learned and provide fresh relevant content to the internet masses about your writing interest. You might call these writers Professional Bloggers, who are making a living doing what they enjoy and that is sharing valuable information for their reading audiences.
Many individuals have turned to blogging as their primary tool of promoting their business opportunity. There are many ways you can learn this process. One was is by trial and error, another way would be to seek professional help from an expert. The question is often asked, how long and how many words should a blog be? What should I write about in my blog? How often should I write and post in a blog? These are excellent and legitimate questions and the answers will vary depending on your abilities to research and compile relevant information, how long it takes for you to write your blog or article plus whatever time you can devote to this important aspect in your current overall marketing strategies.
Let's talk for a moment about word count and how long your blog should be. Most individuals think a blog should be rather short and require some form of an answer from the readers of the blog. This is an unverified assumption. Most of my blogs are from 800 to 1000 words and cover a keyword specific subject matter. Many times I will spend more time in the research of the subject matter of interest than I will in writing the actual blog or article. I try to write everyday and I will spend a good hour to hour or two putting together a blog or article from the information I've compiled from my research.
Last year I wrote over 300 articles for blogs in addition to developing 65 video blogs. Due to my schedule now I try to write a new fresh article for one of my blogs every day or two.
You can incorporate some of these tips we're talking about today into your own blogging experience and turn what may be a weak to mediocre web site or blog into an extremely rewarding cash cow pretty quick. If your dreams include becoming a professional online marketer, then you should definitely consider doing more writing and blogging. Blogging may be just another trend, who knows? However, why not make hay while the sun shines as the old saying goes and capitalize on the marketing phenomena that's making a lot of money for a lot of writers.
There are different formats that you can choose as your blogging platform. One of these is the ever popular Blogger which is owned and managed by Google. Many writers don't like the control that Google uses in there algorithms in their blogging platform. Google is rather stringent on having similar content on more than one blog even though the blogs covers keyword specific subjects. Before you get involved with using Blogger as your only blogging format you may want to talk to some professional bloggers and listen to their opinions and suggestions on what to do. I have personally used Blogger and currently have several blogs with good page rankings using the Blogger format.
Other bloggers likes an open source platform such as Word Press offers. I personally like word press and have several blogs which also cover various subject matters in addition to the Blogger format by Google mentioned earlier. Word Press has a powerful forum that is extremely helpful and is monitored around the clock by professional writers and users who are more than willing to help with any questions you have regarding the proper use of the Word Press format. The guidelines are clearly laid out and if you follow the common sense rules of blogging you should have no problems even if you're relatively new to online marketing and blogging.
There is so much knowledge that you can learn from following your favorite blogs as well as participating in those blogs with comments or writing your own blog on the same subject matter. You can generate an incredible amount of links by commenting on existing blogs you follow. The more you follow a blog and read, study and write the better you will become at writing in your own money making blogs.
One suggestion here would be to focus on the keywords that you've included in your primary web site. Why not do the necessary research on each individual keyword or phrase and then create a blog specifically for that niche part of your primary business. If you have 10 keywords then you will build 10 keyword specific blogs. Then link and back link all of those sites together and end up with a massive daisy chain of blogs, articles and writings that can become extremely powerful when they are all pointing back to your primary business opportunity.
If you're truly serious about attracting a large reading audience, promoting your business effectively and making money online then you should definitely investigate the blogging formats that are available and get started as soon as possible in one of the fastest growing, most lucrative aspect of marketing in today's marketplace. This is a market that is becoming more popular, covering more demographics and being accepted by the internet masses more than any other segment in today's marketplace.
