Learning how to generate sales leads with an auto responder is one way you can build your business quickly. Your auto responder should be viewed as one of your most important and most used marketing tools and should be considered as your best employee. Why? Because once you tell your system what to do, your auto responder messages will automatically be sent to potential clients on a regular basis and this will keep your name and opportunity in front of the general public. What a concept to keep your business opportunity in front of the internet masses without having to waste a lot of your valuable time. This would free up an incredible amount of time and allow you more time to promote your business with other forms of marketing strategies.

Many internet marketers understand how important a good auto responder service can be when promoting your business opportunity online. Unfortunately some marketers have failed in their auto responders efforts because they didn't follow the correct guidelines of how to use the system and some have even abused the system and have lost a lot of potential clients because of their spamming tactics. As with anything else in our society, abuse of a system kills more good deals than anything else.

If you understand that the average user won't commit to an opportunity until somewhere around the 7th contact, then you can understand why auto responders can be a God send to your business. A good rule of thumb would be to send a responder no more than about every 3rd or 4th day or so. Make each responder message unique, short and to the point.

Many marketers will go on and on about their opportunity until the users become bored with the information and clicks off your site or article, never to return again. Normally about 200 words or so on your responder message is enough. If you haven't caught the reader's attention by then you're probably not going to get the user to make a decision with that particular responder message anyway.

There are literally millions of new users coming online everyday so auto responders are more important today than ever before. By providing good information to all users you can use an auto responder to your distinct advantage. Providing information that will help the reader solve a problem is what the internet marketing is all about. If you've tried auto responders and feel they are not effective, why not reconsider your options and at least try to help the newbie's who are just entering the information market with this powerful service.

Try to name your new project with some kind of a catchy but relevant name or title. A good example would be "The Magic Steps to Losing Weight." Since most of us have a weight issue anyway your title would be applicable for a fair share of your readers and possibly entice them to read more of your information. Make your title as captivating as possible and your readers will want to read more about what you have to say.

When doing your research you will come across some vital information from different sources such as reports, articles, scripts, video or even software. If you can refer the readers to your source of information it would be extremely helpful as well and will build your credibility. Provide a link at the bottom of your article or web site pointing to that information source and make it easy for the user to become totally comfortable with your information and the source of where you got your information from. Potential customers will soon build a confidence level in you and your information and when they're ready to make a positive commitment to purchase they will definitely remember where they got their information to make their choices accordingly.

After your original information on your web site or article you can then construct a series of follow- up auto responder messages and set them to go out every few days to those on your mailing list and keep your name and opportunity in front of the potential clients. Keep your information short and sweet and by all means don't be pushy or intimidating in any way. Try to make the user feel that your message is a personal message to them and this is a private event rather than a mass hyped up promotion.

Another beauty of the auto responder is that if you have several domains you can be promoting all of your opportunities at the same time. Make sure that you follow through on whatever you say you're going to do. If you have a stated cutoff date, then by all means cut it off on that date. There is no better way to lose credibility with your readers than to not follow thru on a campaign statement or promise. Not following thru will lose business for you quickly and will end up having a very negative outcome on not only your current campaign but any future campaigns you may be involved with.
