Writing Is The Difference Between Online Survival Or Failure

For most internet marketers, writing is a dreaded chore that most of us even hate to think about. However, learning to write can be the difference between online survival and total failure. There are numerous reasons why people avoid writing articles to promote their products or services. Most marketers don't have a clue of where to start, what to write about or how to get in the mood of writing good copy that will appeal to their reading audience which just may well be your next best customer.

Over the years I've found that a simple outline has helped me substantially and has assisted me to write some powerful copy that has helped countless marketers in their marketing challenges.

From grade school thru college and into my business career I've learned that a good working plan (a blueprint if you will) has helped me to get things done in a timely fashion and to get my story across to my readers.

Once you've learned the process of writing you will be able to write on whatever subject matter you wish with ease. The more you write the better you'll become at writing.

Writing will forever remain a problem to many marketers and as a result they will have to utilize other expensive programs of marketing in order to become successful online. Many marketers would rather walk on a bed of hot coals than write anything about any subject.

Writing copy is not for everyone and in some cases you may want to outsource your writing needs to experienced, professional writers and pay them for their valuable services. This part of the process can be very expensive.

Once you've established what kind of outline you want to use, and compiled your research notes on a given subject matter, you're ready to start your composition of a rough draft copy. You don't have to know how to write, all you have to do is write like you would normally talk. Learn to write just as if you're telling your story to a close friend for the first time. Keep it simple, interesting and factual.

Trying to impress someone with writings that are hyped, plagiarized or causally written with blatant errors of facts and spelling will be rejected very quickly by your reading audience. What you want to convey and forever remain in your readers mind is that you're totally prepared, well versed on your subject matter and that you are passionate about what you're writing about.

I think by now you're beginning to see the importance of developing a outline of what you want to do before you get started trying to share your researched material to your reading audience. Keep your information in simple, concise and understandable language. Forget about trying to impress anyone with all your techie talk. Just be yourself and write from the heart.

Start your writing by creating a compelling introduction to what your writing is all about. Share your information within the body of your article and then have a call to action with a simple overview in the conclusion paragraph. The whole article from start to finish must be creative, interesting enough to maintain the reader's interest and must be applicable to the reader before a closing situation can ever occur.

Develop an easy to follow template that you can modify a bit depending on your article content. Take the time a do some serious in depth research about how you're going to present your information to the readers. Write it down and you can always improve on it after you sleep on your original ideas and then make the necessary changes as needed. Think of ways you can articulate your information to your reading audience in the most compelling way without using pressure tactics.

It's imperative to have a quiet place to do your writings where there are no distractions so you can concentrate on what is needed in your writing to achieve positive results.

In your opening paragraph you must grab the attention of your reader's immediately. This part of the process is also important for the search engines benefit especially if you intend to post your article online in an effort to earn good page rankings for your web site.

Avoid trying to sell your product or service in the body of your article. Offer relevant information how your opportunity provides benefits to the reader regarding what you're trying to market. Save the sales part of you writing to the conclusion area of your article by recapping your article content and explaining how the benefits applies to the reader and inviting them to participate in your business offering. If you don't ask for the order, you'll never make the sale.

Never include a hyperlink in the content area of your writing. Your contact information and linking should always appear in the Author Resources section of your writing. You can include up to 3 links in this area pointing to other related articles or your business web site.

Once you've completed your rough draft, read and re-read your writings and make the necessary changes to make your writing flow like golden honey. Many times I will go over my writing 8 to 10 times and make the necessary changes before I feel comfortable enough to publish the article online. This is a process that is critical to writing good information articles that will generate traffic. Traffic generates sales and sales leads to making money. This is what online marketing is all about.
